WEDDINGS

Music means a lot to me personally, aside from being a DJ. Music plays a very important part in just about everyone's lives and you want a DJ who knows music, will listen to what you want and understands the atmosphere you want to create for your reception. Every bride and groom I work with is different, from personalities to tastes in music. What style and approach suits one bride and groom, doesn't necessarily work for the next. Some couples are extremely shy and very nervous just thinking about walking into the room with all eyes upon them. For the quiet, conservative couple, I make this formality as painless as possible. A low-key introduction with simple background music will suit you just fine. Some newlyweds love being the center of attention and dream about entering their reception with the music pumping and their guests standing and applauding their entrance. If that's what you want, that's what we'll do. This is your day and I will work with you and create a timeline of your reception events and custom playlists of cocktail, dinner and dance music that suits your style and taste.

Included in my services :

  • Up to five (5) hours of continuous music
  • Master of Ceremonies for your introductions and announcements
  • Personal consultation and coordination of your music and reception events
  • State-of-the-art sound system with wireless microphone
  • Large MP3 digital music library

  • Accessible by phone and email with same-day response
Great weddings don't just happen. The key to the perfect wedding that your guests will never forget is greatly attributed to detailed planning, and the experience and overall ability of your DJ. Most people think all DJs are the same and play the same music. Guess again. Wedding trends and popular music changes so often, it’s very important to choose a DJ who is current and rolling with the changes, not against them. Some DJs still use props and play the same old wedding mix (YMCA, Celebration, Old Time Rock & Roll, etc.) and it just doesn't cut it anymore. People want the classics and new music. Not only has dance music changed over the years, but dinner music as well. You have more options than the same old dinner mix. Instead of entertaining the old folks and lulling the younger guests to sleep with Easy Listening, how about a more diverse, upbeat mix? Take a few from Sinatra, Dean Martin, throw in some Michael Buble, 70's Soft Rock, Bob Marley, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, John Mayer, David Gray... it will entertain all your guests during dinner.

As your DJ and MC, I make all announcements in a professional manner :

  • Introduction of the Bridal Party
  • Entrance of the Bride & Groom
  • First Dance of the Bride & Groom
  • Traditional Toast to the Bride & Groom
  • The Cutting of the Cake
  • Bride & Father Dance
  • Groom & Mother Dance
  • Bouquet & Garter Toss (if desired)
  • Departure of the Bride & Groom

There's more than music to consider when you hire a DJ for your wedding. I often become an unofficial wedding coordinator from the time the reception starts to the Last Dance. From lining up the wedding party for introductions, to making sure your photographer and videographer are in the room and ready to capture your special moments. I'm always paying attention to the entire room. I'll let the staff know when it's time to dim the lights for dancing and I'm quick to resolve any problem, such as notifying staff of a broken glass or bottle on the dance floor. I've even gone beyond the call of duty and served as doorman, defusing an altercation between two intoxicated guests on more than one occasion. I will do whatever it takes to make your wedding stress-free and perfect.
